The Hills Mover, Grégoire Fray’s acoustic escapade, finds its origins in his own personal mythology (already suggested in his post-industrial project Thot) and develops itself through aerial songs based on a minimalist sonic architecture.
His first EP, “Dead Notes”, has been crafted between Belgium, Czech Republic, Poland and tells his journey across drowned landscapes littered with water-towers cadavers. Released on May 2015.
His second EP, “Winter Shades”, was released on December 2015. The songs follow up the tracks from the debut EP Dead Notes which came out earlier that year. As NBHAP rightly mentioned: “The three songs on Winter Shades speak of heartbreak and well being but also of Fray’s thoughts as to if it’s possible to change the world and if he should or could make a difference.”
2016 is without any doubt an interesting year for The Hills Mover, as Gregoire was granted to open for the extremely talented Shannon Wright in Brussels, also he will embark on a tour in Germany, Austria and Czech Republic in June 2016.
